Start on A688 at lamp post 40m after bus shelter on Staindrop Village Green. Proceed north west, (care sharp left turn on exit of village) at top of hill turn Left (M) on unclassified road through Burnt Houses. Continue over Cockfield Fell, Cattle Grid, (care steep descent) to Left turn at T junction with B6282 (M) cattle grid. Continue up hill through Copley and Left (M) through Woodland , cattle grid, over moor, cattle grid to Left at T junction with B6278 (M) then immediate Left (M) on B6279 continue to Finish at Staindrop Sign on approach to Village.
