Start Middleton Tyas - on single track road to Middleton Tyas church (to south east of village) at the field gate 20 yards from the junction with the Middleton Tyas to Moulton road. Proceed 20 yds and turn left onto Middleton Tyas to Moulton road (Marshal 1) and proceed south in direction of Scorton. Enter Moulton, (approx 1.5 miles) where bear left at T-junction (Marshal 2). Proceed through Moulton. to leave village round sharp left hand bend past the Black Bull pub. Proceed to Scorton, (approx 4 miles) where bear left into short one way section in front of village green leading to junction with B1263 (North Cowton Road) and turn left to join the B1263 (Marshal 3). Proceed in north easterly direction to North Cowton & Entercommon. Proceed past Atley Hill and Cowton Cross Roads to join A167 at Entercommon (approx 9.5 miles) (Marshal 4). Proceed in north westerly direction to Croft-on-Tees (approx 14 miles) (CARE on descent to village). Take first left onto unclassified road on entering the outskirts of Croft (Marshal 5) in direction Middleton-in-Tyas. Proceed for approx 4 miles to bear left at minor T-junction (Marshal 6) (direction Middleton Tyas) and finish at the sandy layby on the left 50yds before the brow of the hill into Middleton Tyas (and approximately 400 metres before entrance to Headquarters at Middleton Tyas Primary School).
